I find this book to be wonderful!!! The recipes are delicious!!!I love her delicious soup recipes,they were very simple and great tasting,
i just bought her second cookbook and its better than her first - which i also thought was good but all dairy.
her recipes are simple but with a twist. from her soups to her bbq chicken wings everything looks good and nothing is too crazy with ingredients that I wouldn't normally have at home. I just tried her ultimate steak recipe for dinner and it was really fantastic - better than bobby flays ultimate steak.
love the fact shes all kosher and not typical traditional - cant wait for her next book!
After trying out a few recipes from The At Home Gourmet like Mommy's Asian Chicken & Spaghetti and Chicken Curry, I knew I had a cookbook that was a keeper. Besides beautiful photos and personal narrative introductions to each recipe, there is wonderful variety from all four corners of the Jewish culinary world. Whether you are the type of person who sits down every Sunday to plan out your meals for that week, or a person that gets home, looks at her fridge and/or pantry and decides what to make for dinner, this book is for you. You can literally pull out any recipe, and it will be doable. What's more it will be different and delicious. No more children and husbands compaining "not again."
